A biotechnology workshop was opened on Nov 7-8 at Qingdao, a dynamic coastal city in Shandong Province of China, where varying topics in the areas of industrial biotechnology were discussed. This workshop attracted around 20 German scientists and enterprisers from the Cluster for Industrial Biotechnology (CLIB), and dozens of local industrial and academic partners joined the two-day meeting.
