Zeolitic Materials (ZeoMat) Group at Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, CAS, has been established in Nov. 2019. The research focus of the Group is the synthesis and modifications of zeolites and related microporous solids respecting their applications in catalysis, separations, and molecular recognitions that address the future challenges in energy harvest and conversion, in green chemicals, as well as in the environmental protection, both at the national and international niveaux. Based on the established expertise of the Group initial research objectives are chosen on the activation of smaller gas molecules over functionalized zeolitic crystallites and composites of various topology, morphology and compositions. The Group is growing to an internationally recognized laboratory of zeolite research, with a dedicated team of experienced researchers, postdocs and graduate students at various levels that delivers world-class scientific and technological results.
