Research Interest
1. Inspired by the special wettability interfaces of biological species, researchers aim to develop disruptive enhanced oil recovery technologies that focus on engineering the oil/rock interface.
2. Inspired by the high-efficient energy conversion of electric eels, the group research on the bioinspired ion nanochannel membranes to harvest the osmotic energy, focusing on the novel membrane design concept to promote the industrial applications.4. The group aim to provide solutions, e.g., biomimetic catalysts, to key technical challenges in utilizing the renewable resources to greatly improve efficiency of hydrogen production.
