LIU Zhongmin Meets with Consul General of South Korea in Qingdao
On April 1st, Dr. LIU Zhongmin, director general of Shandong Energy Institute, met with Mr. KIM Kyunghan, the Consul General of South Korea in Qingdao.
LIU Zhongmin extended a sincere welcome to Consul General and the team. He introduced the development of Qingdao institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (QIBEBT), the construction of Shandong Energy Institute (SEI), and international cooperation in the field of clean energy. LIU Zhongmin expressed that with the care and support of the Consul General, the Institute is willing to establish and continue to promote exchanges and cooperation with Korean partners.
KIM Kyunghan expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and introduced a series of bilateral exchange activities to be launched for the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and South Korea. KIM Kyunghan said that environment and energy will be one of the key areas of cooperation between South Korea and Shandong Province in the future. He invited Shandong Energy Institute to participate in the preparation and organization of exchange activities during the China-South Korea "Cultural Exchange Year". This will be an opportunity to continuously deepen the further cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science and technology, culture, and economy, and strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.
Mr. XU Feng, deputy director general of SEI, professor TIAN Yajun, director of Extended Energy Bigdata and Strategy Research Center, and Dr. LIANG Xiangfeng, Director of Science and Technology Department attended the meeting.
