An Australia Pro Vice-Chancellor Visits QIBEBT
Prof. Aibing YU, the pro vice-chancellor of the Monash University was invited to visit the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (QIBEBT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on Mar 23. PENG Hui, the deputy director general of QIBEBT, welcomed the guests.
After a warm discussion, Aibing YU was invited to visit the QIBEBT Exhibition Hall, where PENG Hui introduced the institute's development process, strategy and layout. As the pro vice-chancellor, YU is responsible for the strategic development and overall management of Monash operations in China, and partnership and collaboration with R&D organisations and industries in China. During the visit, YU emphasized the collaborative feasibility with QIBEBT, and PENG expected to find more comment interests to cooperate in the future.
Aibing YU also serves as the president of Monash-Southeast University Joint Research Institute. He is currently a fellow of Australian Academy of Science (AAS), Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), Royal Society of New South Wales (RSNSW), and Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
