Prof. Dwight Seferos from University of Toronto, was invited by Advanced organic functional materials & devices Group to give a report on October 16th.

Prof. Dwight Seferos presented his research entitled as “Selenium and Tellurium- Containing pi-Conjugated Materials”. In his presentation, he introduced the advantages of materials based on Selenium and Tellurium, which are used on organic photovoltaic devices. He also pointed that the improvement of OPV efficiency is controlled by many complicated factors, while design and synthesis new type of donor materials is one of the most successful method to solve the prolem.

During the period at QIBEBT, Prof. Seferos had an academic discussion with group members in detail. This further established the basis of scientific cooperation in materials field.
