Dr. Angelo Amorelli, vice-President Science & Technology (China) at BP plc and Mr. Bocken Qin, ventures technology (China) manager at BP Ventures have been invited to visit the QIBEBT on February 4th. Deputy director general LU Xuefeng met with the guests and hosted the meeting.

During the meeting, Dr. LU Xuefeng and Dr. Amorelli introduced the overview of QIBEBT and BP to each other, respectively. Some research groups attended the meeting and addressed their research progress to the guests. Both parties agree that there are several areas of common interest where the collaboration can grow with a much further understanding of each other.
