The Delegation composed by management team of Hongkong Biofuels Ltd. and PHYCO Biosciences Ltd. paid a visit to the QIBEBT with the company of Chinese Strategic Alliance Investment Co., Ltd. VP on March 24, 2010. Deputy Director General Dr. PENG Hui received the Delegation and Assistant Director General Dr. LV Xuefeng hosted the meeting.

Both parties introduced their microalgae program planning, research progress, process technologies and products, as well as the potential markets for biofuels, food and feed.

The Delegation wish to develop the potential cooperation opportunity to screen and cultivate the localized microalgae strains for the PHYCO’s technology and system that will be introduced into China soon. Two parties have a better understanding of each other through the meeting and it will be a start point for future idea exchange and cooperation.
