Dr. Manoj Koranne, R&D director of Renewable Technologies at Grace Davison, and his colleagues paid a visit to the QIBEBT on 2nd December.

Dr. LU Xuefeng, assistant director general of the QIBEBT had a friendly meeting with Grace guests, and briefly introduced the QIBEBT’s overview and research activities at the fields of chemical catalysis. Mr. Neil Smith, Global business director for Grace chemical catalysts and adsorbents, briefed on the business of Grace at specialty catalysts and process technology focusing on biofuels and bio-based chemicals. Dr. Koranne then talked about the overview of Grace renewable technologies. During the discussion, both sides expressed the interests to explore cooperation at mutually interested areas and mode.

Grace delegation then visited the pilot plant and discussed with related research staff at heterogeneous catalytic conversion group, bio-based polymer material group and thermochemical conversion group at the aspect of chemical catalysts R&D and application.
