    Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSCM)

Model: Fluo ViewTM FV1000 (Olympus Corporation)

    Technical Features

    • Multilineal Argon laser: 458nm, 488nm, 515nm
      Long life diode laser: 405nm, 559nm, 635nm
    • Holographic grating spectrometer (2nm spectral wavelength resolution, linear spectral distribution)
    • Spectral imaging: two detectors with tunable bandwidth(plus one standard detector); transmitted light detector for brightfield or DIC imaging
    • SIM scanner for photoactivation/photobleaching at high temporal resolution with a 405 nm laser independently of the imaging lasers.
    • Fluorescence bandwidth: 1100nm
      Spectral scan range: 400800nm

Mainly used for qualitative and quantitative observation of cells and tissues; real-time monitoring of physiological signal and ion content in living cells. Widely used in many fields such as morphology, molecular cytobiology, neuroscience, genetics, etc.
