The Single Cell Center has been developing a new generation of single-cell analysis instruments, including those for Raman-activated single-cell sorting, single-cell omics and synthetic biology of microbiota. These novel scientific instruments and technological platforms are allowing us to delineate, manipulate and design key metabolic processes, such as microalgal oil production, cellulose conversion and human-microbe symbiosis, at the single-cell level.
