    Biography 

    WANG Qinggang obtained his Ph.D in organic chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science in 2010. From 2011 to 2015, he worked as postdoctoral researcher associate in Max-Planck-Institute for Kohlenforschung, Germany. In Mar. 2015 he joined Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, CAS as a faculty member. He is currently a professor and the leader of Advanced Catalytic Polymerization Group in Bio-based Materials Center. He has published over 15 research papers on leading journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and etc, and applied for more than 20 patents. His group focuses on the catalytic polymerization for the novel and functional materials synthesis and applications, utilizing organocatalytic polymerization and transition-metal catalyzed coordinated polymerization.

    1) Designing and Synthesis of Chiral Functional Polymers Unitizing Asymmetric Polymeric Kinetic Resolution. 

    2) Synthesis and application of Functional Polyolefin Elastomers Unitizing Transition-Metal Catalyzed Coordinated Polymerization. 

    3) Developing Novel Synthetic Approach and Process for the Special Functional Molecules.
