Abstract:

Porous materials have attracted extensive attention due to their fascinating properties including high surface areas, large pore volume, uniform and ordered pore structure, modifiable surface structure, various pore structures, and tunable abundant framework compositions. As a result, porous materials have broad applications in catalysis, adsorption, separation, sensor, energy storage, drug delivery and controlled release, and so on. In this presentation, periodic mesoporous (organo)silicas (PM(O)Ss) or amorphous carbon-based monodisperse nanospheres will be addressed, and their applications in luminescent materials, drug adsorption and controlled release, ultrafast adsorption of protein, catalysis, or as anode materials will be introduced.
